# Lifestyle Number

Next, you'll enter your Lifestyle Number, which we define as the amount needed monthly to cover luxuries.

Lifestyle Number tool tip: **Your Lifestyle Number is the total monthly Unearned Income (money that works for you) to cover wants and luxuries. It is the second specific target number and milestone in the TWF money mastery system and is used to plot your financial independence plan.**

You can also use the Split function to enter separate amounts for Freedom Number (included in Lifestyle Number), Travel, Shopping, Entertainment and Other but you'll be able to edit these settings later in Lifestyle Number.
